Spooktacular Bash 9/12/19 Workshop

Spooktacular Bash! The only Halloween Workshop this fall! you will not want to miss! Here's how it works.....
You will receive a packet of 2 card bases and envelopes, a mini treat box- coffin shape-a stamped image piece of whisper white paper. Liner paper and backgrounds will be in a stack on the table, you may select two of each that please you. You will ink wash and color the images. At the die cutting table, you may cut frames, shapes from various foil, color, vellum and other papers....Here's what I need YOU TO BRING: any black, black and white, orange or yellow ribbons that you have.... seems I don't have much! Also bring any black sequins or rhinestones to share.

Off to Holland! Workshop 8-1-19

Off to Holland! A windmill, tulips and a bicycle... yes, we are off to Holland! This week you will be ink painting the beautiful windmill scene, stamping a coordinating envelope and also creating a set of 4- yes 4- note cards with envelopes!  Yes, you would be able to tie a ribbon around them and have an instant little gift! Fishing in Canada! Workshop 7-25-19

Add the Canadian Pines to our fish, loon, and shore line frenzy this summer... or you can stamp the Hawaiian palms, use the sail boats and fish, and all the cute things we have been using this month - FISHING!
Inking scenes with this additional set really opens up the "world" to fun, QUICK little scenes that you will love incorporating with your work... my work table is such a

Best Catch! Workshop 7-11-19

Best Catch! So have you gone fishing this summer yet? Well, tomorrow we are at Stampin' Up! workshop! I had so much fun inking fish and the little fisherman, the basket, lures, hat- amazing details! and there are dies to cut them out as well as embossed dies for many more things in this set. We will be making the 2 (5x7") A7 cards with matching envelopes...using up some old plaid papers, but they are amazing with this set. I did all the coloring with Alcohol inks, lots of shades, bring your pens! This set will work for retirement, birthday, Father's Day- late, congratulations - lots of celebrations for the guys in our lives. Oh, yes, there are gals that fish too....

Good Morning Magnolia!
What an elegant and beautiful way to start the
NEW Stampin' Up! YEAR!
Gorgeous flowers, paper, sentiments and lots of surprises coming in the next few months! Ok, I'm excited to make these cards with you... first of all they are OVER-sized, A-6 and A-7 cards- we normally make an A-2 card. Learn more about these sizes in workshop. Confused? You will make each of these sizes- and take home for reference. Also, we are decorating the INSIDE! and the ENVELOPE... yes, these have different sized envelopes.... no worries, the stock can easily be obtained- you just might fall in love with these NEW (to us) sizes of cards.
The samples in the picture are colored with waterbrush and ink, you may want to use alcohol inks; colors are Petal Pink, So Saffron, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow. Please have a blender pen or very light colors to float with these- they are intense!!!!

Painted Glass Workshop 4/11/19

Painted Glass! Finally we are working with this favorite... that has been available for a long time! The intricate dies are amazing, the tiniest lines, create miniature stained glass windows so perfectly! The techniques in this workshop include reverse embossing, so bring ball stylus' and your stamping mat. Also plan to use alcohol inks to color the glass.... not much else works!

Beauty Abounds! Creating with these beautiful dies and stamps made me think in spring color, soft flowers, shimmer paint and the beautiful lacy butterflies have soooooo many options! I can hardly wait to show you what all I have made! Then a friend saw them and ordered a dozen, so I have made lots of beautiful butterfly cards from this set! You may want to bring just a few of the PASTEL alcohol inks with you to color the little, tiny flowers... since they are stamped with WC ink, that will make for prettier blooms... and find all the TINY rhinestones that you have.

Fable Friends! Charming, sweet, with textures and colors, these nostalgic characters come to life with simple watercolor techniques.... Please bring with you watercolor brushes, OR alcohol inks- make sure you have the softest colors and a blender pen! By the Bay... nostalgic, soft scenes with delicate colors, make these dreamy, iconic, seaside cards that just carry so much meaning. OK, we have not made soft skies in a while, so here's the deal: Remember to bring your own sky color ink pads; a soft yellow, soft pink or coral, and pale blue... even discontinued inks work well for this! Bring a SOFT big brush, like a clean makeup powder brush, or your glitter resist brush, various sponges. The tools that you use with a gentle touch to softly blend the sky areas... you might bring some extra pieces of whisper white to practice sky on, that you can stamp with other scenery stamps at home! You will be glad that you did!

Making Valentines has always been one of my favorite card styles to make.... and using Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo inks, they just can't get much better than this! These roses in this stamp set are self-shading... awesome! You cannot make a mistake! The die cuts coordinate - and I did add a couple of the little doilies from the "Dear Doily" set. Valentines need lots of lace, ribbons, pearls and rhinestones - to say, "I love you!"

It is frosty outside! So we create shimmery, frosty blooms indoors that pop with the clean, intense colors is this collection. Both the carry over stamp set "First Frost" and the NEW "All That You Are" use the same dies to cut the images! Sweet! and Frosty!
Add lace and shimmer paint with chunky glitter- all things that we love, I can't wait to see everyone Thursday morning!
